This is basically the plot for 3.21 if Alec had become a vampire. Magnus is still trapped in Edom, whilst Alec is still trying to figure out a way to get him back. Whilst the others notice Alec's lack of sleep, eating and continuing to use his stamina rune, he's not gonna stop at anything until he gets Magnus back, even if that means turning himself into a downworlder. After being attacked by an unknown demon, Alec is left in a coma, trapped in a dream world where his worst nightmares come true. Magnus uses an ancient spell to transport himself, Jace, Izzy, Simon and Clary into Alec's subconscious to try to find him and pull him out of his nightmares, before he succumbs to them and dies.

Clarissa, starts to grow depressed after spending so long with Sebastian. Jace and the others were sent back to Earth when Clary became Queen. A young fae boy is found, and Clarissa decides to adopt him as she cannot bear a child, since she doesn't age. After a number of rituals, the young boy is no longer a fairy. Biologically, he is now the son of Clarissa and Sebastian. He is Stellan Morgenstern, Prince of Edom. He doesn't remember anything before his life in Edom, and is raised by his mother mostly, and trained by his father. One day his mother decides to send him to Earth, to have a real life. His father does not argue, because he secretly wants his son to create havoc on Earth. Stellan is 200 years old, yet he looks 10. This is his story.
