After much persuasion, they eventually are able to convince Pepper to make the death cure. After years of hard work, she finally does it: she brings Ash back to life. All seems well until the newly formed trio discovers that there are malevolent people out there who have found out about Pepper's invention--and they want it for themselves.

Hey hey hey!! :D I recently finished Banana Fish and OMFG OML it was fkin amazing 10/10 - and so I decided to commemorate the obsession with some fanfics :P No spoilers, just your usual fluff/smut/lemon warning. !!!BANANA FISH SPOILER ALERT!!! What if Banana Fish ended with Ash and Eiji living together in Japan? Well, if you are interested just read this fan fiction! Ash survives and flies to Japan and Eiji shows him his life. Warning: This fan fiction is still Banana Fish so be prepared for a lot of angst, abusive mentionings etc. I don't own the characters nor the pictures Also I'm sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes but English unfortunately isn't my first language.

The story is inspired by the manga. Summary: After 7 years, Eiji still insistently disapproves of Sing's love, but still waits for someone who has passed away, cruelly leaving him alone. Ash's soul was always watching over him, and could no longer bear to watch the person he loves painfully live in desperate efforts of waiting for him. He selfishly prayed to God, bring his soul to his side, that the two could be together again. But because of his selfishness, God punished him. He took all the memories about Ash from Eiji's mind, giving them another life in a peaceful country. Ash was given a chance, but it was also a punishment and revenge. Because the person he loves, is happy with his family and no longer have memories of him. Will Ash regain his love, when faced with an aggressive Eiji? Art is not mine.

What happens to Eiji once he returns to Japan? The story takes place after episode 24 so will contain spoilers. I have read Garden of Light so this is like an alternative ending. There's a lot of angst.

A dive into the world of New York that we know and love in Banana Fish. Follows Banana Fish storyline but in detail with an o/c. Lila Michaels' dad was a NYC detective investigating Dino and his shady restaurant, he felt personally attached to Ash's case trying desperately to save him from the world he knew, but when he got too close on evidence Dino kills him in cold blood. Julia tries her best to help Ash, Eiji etc to take Dino down to avenge her father and take banana fish down as a tribute to Ash's pain as-well as forming close friendships with our fav characters!
