Too anxious and impulsive to think things through, the son and daughter of Siggy and Leif sneak onto a raid and sail to new lands. However, their adventure turns around and they find themselves farther from home than they expected. Frightened and unsure of what to do, Brynjar and Oydis must stick together and find a way to get back to their parents before things get worse. Sequel to Siggy the Shieldmaiden!

Eira Dowling grew up around Alfea as the adoptive daughter of Farah Dowling, the headmistress of Alfea College. Growing up, she knew nothing about her parents and is determined to find out what truly happened to them. She enlists the help of of Bloom, a fire fairy, to find out more about her family and her heritage. With Eira's past coming into question and a sudden realisation, what could possibly go wrong? What if Hiccup wasn't the only runtlike child of Stoick? What if he had a twin sister? Well, he does. She was carried off by a Monstrous Nightmare, when she was 5 months old, and has this talent with understanding the dragon's feelings. She was brought back to Berk, by accident, when the Nightmare was shot down and killed. She was left in Berk's freezing snow, alone. She never knew about her father or brother, until now. Meet Eira, Hiccup's long lost twin sister.

Juniper is the Autumn Princess. Ash is the Autumn Prince. They're going to get married; they know it, their parents know it, the whole Autumn Kingdom knows it. Eira is the Winter Princess. And the Winter Prisoner. She sits alone in the cell, and one of Juniper's duties is to feed her. Juniper knows Winter kills Autumn. Juniper knows Eira is a girl. But the Winter Prisoner is making her feel more alive than the Autumn Prince ever did.

"Don't let your heart freeze, my love." War was on the horizon. Eira had always been taught to keep her heart open, as a frozen heart would close her off and turn her into a monster of legend, something to be feared and shunned. But then she loses the one person she loves above all else and is forced to flee before her heart becomes as cold as the ice palace she calls home. But then she meets a young girl who seems happy enough, but soon shows that her happiness is artificial. But soon enough it isn't the fake emotions keeping them together, but real ones that are hidden beneath the surface along with a barrage of memories as they both try to figure out why exactly they were brought together and why they both seem so familiar.
