Until a war sparked between the elemental kingdoms. Her world was shot into chaos, and she was hired as an assassin, killing people here and there. Eira had no remorse unless it came to her sister, Icelyn Winters. If somebody hurt her, they were beyond dead. Which obviously made her mad when she was kidnapped by the Kingdom of Shadows. Follow her on her journey through trauma, death, and a dash of love. Who will she sacrifice? And who will she save?

Balance in the world isn't automatic. It isn't something that just happens naturally. God-like beings known as Conductors and Conductresses keep the order of everything in the world. Eira is one such Conductress. She is is the Conductress of Ice and Winter. Without her, winter would never come, and the world would erupt in flames. When the Conductor of Fire and Summer, becomes corrupted, he threatens to end the earth in flames. Unless Eira can learn more about her abilities, Winter will simply be skipped, and Doomsday will arrive.

What would you do if your father was a Norse God of Mischief, and your mother was a mortal? What if you found out that you were raised by the Greek God of War and the Greek Goddess of Love? Wouldn't you go and try and find your father? Good luck because the Greek deities won't let you go, and most of the Norse deities think your dead...and plan to keep it that way (Set before Avengers, but might do some changes and stuff)

While she is clumsy, childish, timid, insecure, and a complete book fanatic, he is mysterious, reserved, and stunningly handsome. Eira admits she may be attracted to him at first, just a little, but nearly not enough to marry him as her and his parents both suddenly reveal she must. Despite her protests, she is forced into the arrangement and becomes a wife, all in the span of what she had supposed would be a laid-back Winter Break. Her concept of marriage is turned inside out and rearranged by this distant guy she must now call her husband, who while he remains civil to her, refuses to admit that he loves or has any feelings for her beyond friendliness. Their journey together as a hastily married couple continues to grow even more tense and complicated when a life-threatening event jeopardizes Eira's health and forces her so-called husband to finally evaluate what he feels for her.
