basically these two people meet in a group for those with chronic illnesses. they immediately connect after an incident and start dating. but with both of their physical and mental issues and a difference in livelihoods it becomes hard to stay together.

This would be expected of someone that allows her whole life to be governed by a past experience ---an experience that even convinces her to love solitude and isolation from people. After several years of isolation, her aunt makes her go to school which creates a whole new pack of trouble as the trauma of her past resurfaces.
