"You're not seriously telling me you've never been to the movies before?! What about your friends?!"
"I didn't have any friends. If I did, they'd probably all be weird social rejects, like me."
"Bro are you being for real right now?"
"Yeah. Umm... sorry, was that rude?"
Unlike most people that got into the hero course, Sakura Fukushima hasn't dreamed of being a hero her entire life. In fact, the laughable thought had never once crossed her mind. After all, her grades left much to be desired, her quirk was hardly hero material, and she couldn't talk to people if her life depended on it, let along handle press.
Her parents having been out of the picture since she was nine years old, she lived with her aunt and two cousins, who were all... distant. From both each other and her. Which, as you can imagine, did wonders for her social confidence.
Taking the entrance exam really was just a 'what if' for her. It's not like she actually thought she'd get in, but miracles are everywhere, am I right?
So, it begs the question - how does a socially awkward, pessimistic teenage girl, with zero confidence in herself or anything she does, possibly become a hero?
"Oh dear. Umm... if I die, can you destroy my laptop please? And clear the search history, but don't look at it."
"What the actual FUCK, we're ABOUT TO DIE!"
