The sun-bleached, palm-lined world of Fort Myers, Florida, is Lynn Turner's kingdom. As a 17-year-old star swimmer for Fort Myers High, her life is a perfect rhythm of chlorinated water, weekend meets, and the effortless laughter of her best friends. But in June of 2020, while on a victory trip to London, that rhythm is shattered by a soundless, swift invasion. Creatures of impossible speed and ferocity-dubbed "Death Angels" hunt by sound, reducing the cacophonous modern world to a graveyard. Stranded an ocean away from home, Lynn and her teammates must trade the roar of cheering crowds for the discipline of absolute silence. Their swimmer's lungs, trained for breath control, and their athlete's discipline become their greatest weapons in a fight to cross a silent, Europe overrun by creatures. Their goal: the distant, safe shores of Australia, where life still hums normally, protected by water the creatures cannot cross.

???: "To anyone listening who has not been infected, this is a message from the Environmental Logistics & Solutions Enterprise. As you are keenly aware, our dear Earth has seen better days before the Great Desertification. And to make matters even more dire, our own attempt at combating it has turned against us. This planet is beyond our control, and beyond our help. Which is why we have taken to the stars for a fresh new start." "By the time you've received this -- we, among the rest of humanity's remnants, have set a course for the identified exoplanet Si-[**static**] confirmed to support life. As for you and anyone else unfortunate enough to've been left behind, our organization has left a parting gift to help mitigate this global ordeal. And so, we ask that you be well-advised." "If you happen to come across any carrier of the Absolute Zero virus, direct skin contact is to be avoided at all cost. It cannot be treated, and despite our best efforts, there is no known cure. So in terms of safety precautions, long-ranged heat-based weaponry is highly recommended; Flame throwers, explosives, lasers, etc. But keep in mind that they can only slow them down, not kill them outright. The cold from within will not allow that." "Furthermore, hiding from plain sight is not a viable option. They will know where you are. Not by your tracks, but by-[***static***]-atter-[***static***]-verall survival strategy is to stay as far away from the carrier as possible -- and allow our trusted St. Helio units to intervene. Rest assured, they will keep them subdued. And if all goes according to plan, the virus we created will spread no further." "Those of you who remain here have our deepest apologies. As well as our sincerest hope that you may persevere, just as human life has done since the very beginning. Farewell, good luck, and Godspeed. This world rests in your hands now." *Note: This is a rebooted version of an old story. The plot is very different to it and essentially a new book.* ----- A ribbon, a hair-clip, a pen, a notebook and a radio, held in the arms of a sixteen year old girl... ... It's been four hundred of years since The Rot ravaged the world and sent people downward with its decaying touch, four hundred years since humanity has inhaled even a breath of fresh air and twenty years since the first fifth-generation child was born in the shelters deep underground. And now, beneath the poisoned earth at the edge of the world, only six of them remain living in the last surviving shelter, the last surviving Lifelight illuminating a darkened board. For the rest were claimed by The Rot. Protected at all costs, older generations shields the worst of the consequences, the worst of the panic, but truth cannot be hidden forever. With increasing tensions and increasing crime, it becomes clear that there are only two outcomes: to die in strife or to die in silence. That is, until an inexplicable hope presents itself in the form of a radio transmission originating from the single most uninhabitable place on Earth, the surface. But it's too late, too late for most, other than the most protected, the youngest, the fifth generation. The waiting game is over and now it's a race against time. Before The Rot reaches them, before they run out of supplies, the handful of survivors must reach out and find the source of the transmission. From this, there are only two possible results: death or a secured future.

My life was measured in milliseconds and the silent focus behind my goggles. I'm Sam, a swimmer from Scottsdale, and I thought my biggest problem was beating my personal best. I was wrong. Now, on a trip to Italy with my best friends, the world has ended. Creatures that hunt by sound have invaded. One scream, one dropped phone, one careless step and you're dead. We're stranded thousands of miles from home. Our only hope is to reach the coast, to an island they can't touch. Because they have one weakness: They can't swim. And I've spent my whole life training for the water. In a world gone terrifyingly silent, my greatest skill might be the only thing that can keep us alive.

Hi, the world feels very heavy right now. I don't know what my future will be but things aren't looking good. I feel hopeless, dread, and like the world is about to end. The title of this book comes from all those feelings. I originally was going to put these lyrics in a novel I've been thinking about writing, but now I feel like with everything going on in the world it should be it's own thing. Here's Signs Of The Apocalypse. •• I got the cover for this book from google and credit for the cover goes to the rightful owner (s)

Jack wakes up to the end of the world already in progress. Sirens don't explain it. The news doesn't survive long enough to clarify it. People don't stay dead-and whatever replaces them is hungry, patient, and learning. This is not a traditional novel. Jack's Run is a live-reaction apocalypse story, written as events unfold and decisions are made in real time. There is no outline, no guaranteed survival, and no authorial safety net-only momentum, fear, and the consequences of moving when stillness means death. Each episode captures a fragment of collapse as Jack runs-from rooms, from people, from things that should not exist-through a world that is breaking faster than anyone can understand it. Read it like you're there. Because Jack doesn't know what happens next either. - I will also be posting this on Royal Road

When the UNSC Spirit of Fire drifts through a localized Slipspace rupture, Captain James Cutter and the legendary Spartans of Red Team expect to wake up in a galaxy at war with the Covenant. Instead, they find themselves orbiting a silent, scarred Earth-two centuries after a nuclear apocalypse. In this epic crossover, the high-tech precision of the 26th-century UNSC collides with the brutal, lawless reality of the Fallout universe. From the irradiated ruins of the Capital Wasteland to the neon-soaked sands of the Mojave, Jerome-092 and his team must navigate shifting alliances with the Brotherhood of Steel, the NCR, and the mysterious Institute. But as the "Star-Fallen Angels" begin to heal the planet with terraforming technology, they awaken a threat far greater than Raiders or Super Mutants: an ancient, automated defense system and a ghost from their own future. Can a ship from the stars save a world that has already ended? Or will the Spirit of Fire become just another relic in the graveyard of history?

2559, during the Banished ambush over Zeta Halo, the battered UNSC Infinity-class supercarrier makes a desperate, malfunctioning slipspace jump to evade destruction. The experimental Forerunner-enhanced drive rips a rift through realities, hurling the ship to an alternate Earth devastated by nuclear apocalypse in 2077. Emerging in 2281 over the Mojave Wasteland, the Infinity crash-lands amid the ruins of Las Vegas, its hull scarring the desert near Hoover Dam. Aboard are ~17,000 survivors: Spartans, Marines, ODSTs, scientists, and the ship's AI Roland (damaged but operational). Simultaneously, in Goodsprings, the female Courier awakens after Benny's betrayal, embarking on her quest for the Platinum Chip-a device that could upgrade Mr. House's Securitron army and tip the balance of power at Hoover Dam. The Infinity's arrival shatters the Mojave's fragile stalemate: NCR, Caesar's Legion, House, and minor factions like the Boomers, Brotherhood of Steel, and Great Khans react to this "star-fallen fortress" and its godlike tech. The Courier, drawn by rumors of "metal gods from the sky," intersects with UNSC survivors, forging an alliance that could reshape the wasteland-or doom it if the Infinity's Forerunner artifacts awaken ancient horrors.

BOOK II - ERROR 404 II Months after the city survived a night it was never meant to remember, life has resumed-but not recovered. Officially, the disaster was contained. Records were sealed, witnesses silenced, and the missing reduced to numbers. Unofficially, something has changed. Shadows no longer behave like shadows. The night feels heavier. And people who lived through it carry a quiet certainty that the horror did not end-it withdrew. The survivor at the center of the catastrophe struggles to rebuild a normal life while haunted by fragments of memory that feel less like trauma and more like unfinished business. Sleep brings warnings instead of rest, and the sense of being watched never fully fades. As unexplained incidents begin to surface beyond the city-bodies found without wounds, animals torn apart with impossible precision, security footage that erases itself-new forces enter the scene. Hunters, operating without names or insignia, trace patterns that suggest what awakened during the blackout was only the beginning. For centuries, certain predators remained hidden by choice. Now secrecy is becoming a liability. While shadow-born entities adapt and evolve, other creatures begin to move openly, bound by instinct, territory, and blood. Their presence threatens not just humanity, but the fragile balance between supernatural factions that have avoided open conflict for generations. Book II is a descent into controlled horror-less chaos, more intent. The question is no longer what happened, but what is coming, and whether humans are still part of the equation-or simply collateral.

A continuation of the acclaimed novel BEYOND THE LIGHT. The answers remain buried in ruin. What gave birth to the monsters? Can a broken world ever return to what it once was? And how does humanity evolve when survival demands sacrifice? As ash settles over a dying civilization, the line between man and monster grows dangerously thin. Old truths are questioned, new powers awaken, and survival is no longer about strength alone-but choice. In a world reshaped by destruction, every step forward comes at a cost, and growth is forged through loss, pain, and impossible decisions. Beyond the Light - Volume II explores what happens after survival-when humanity must decide not just how to live, but what it is willing to become.
