Two years ago, actress Engfa Waraha met journalist Charlotte Austin during a press conference that was supposed to be just another work event.
While everyone else asked about movies, rumors, and fame, Charlotte asked the one question no one ever thought to ask:
"With such a busy life, how do you take care of yourself?"
For the first time, Engfa felt truly seen.
What started as a simple coffee became lunches, dinners, and eventually a love neither of them expected. Charlotte became Engfa's safe place - the person who saw beyond the actress and loved the woman underneath. Engfa became Charlotte's home - the person who made her feel understood.
But loving someone with a life built around constant work came with its own struggles.
As Engfa's career grew, so did her responsibilities. More movies, more interviews, more commitments. Charlotte tried to remind her to slow down, to rest, to take care of herself, but Engfa refused to stop.
Until one night, exhaustion, frustration, and words said in anger pushed them apart.
They walked away from each other, even though neither of them stopped loving the other.
Years later, after a health incident puts Engfa back in the spotlight, Charlotte finds herself watching the woman she once loved collapse in front of the world.
She knows Engfa.
She knows the fake smiles.
She knows the way she says she's fine when she isn't.
And during the press conference meant to clear rumors, Charlotte asks the question no one else dares to ask:
"Are you really okay?"
In front of the cameras, the fans, and the entire world, Engfa and Charlotte are forced to face the feelings they never truly left behind.
Because sometimes the person who knows you best is the person you let go of.
And sometimes love doesn't disappear.
Sometimes it just becomes a memory you carry forever.
