Environment Stories

Two strangers in their mid-sixties come together to turn their dreams into reality. Their three-year adventure takes them through extreme sailing in some of the wildest and most remote waters on the planet, and they do it in comfort and style. Many parts of this book read like Action/Adventure novels and, at times, Thrillers. Some of the experiences, both afloat and ashore, are so incredible that some might consider them Fantasies. But it all happened, and as the adventure unfolded, I wrote a blog that gained over 3,000 daily views and grew beyond a million words and over 2,500 images. This is a condensed rewrite of that blog, but with Wattpad's limit of twenty images per chapter, I've included only 2,450 here.

Earth, 2070 AD. 18-year-old Kai and his twin sister Zel are survivors. Two years ago, they lost their parents in an apocalyptic environmental disaster that ravaged Earth, killing many. Kai and Zel now live a scattered, nomadic existence along with other survivors. On a planet left devastated with few natural resources available, Kai and Zel work hard to stay alive. But while Kai goes deeper into Earth for answers, Zel looks to the stars. She is convinced that their time on Earth is limited, and that in order to save humanity, they must travel to Mars. She even rekindles her friendship with a former lover, Steve Rogers, and makes friends with plenty of other heroes in their own right. Sarai never thought she would meet Wanda Maximoff. But Wanda isn't the only thing that causes Sarai to hesitate. Magic is in the autumn air, and not just figuratively. A deep-seeded magic that Sarai never knew she had starts to blossom, just like a romance with Wanda. With this magic comes a destiny Sarai didn't know she had. In Celtic myth, honeybees were regarded as having great wisdom and acted as messengers between worlds, able to travel to the Otherworld, bringing back messages from the gods. "Telling the bees" may be a throwback to the idea of keeping the gods informed of human affairs. "You must treat them as you would a member of your own family," Isaac's mother, an apiarist, would often say. Although, she preferred the term "beekeeper." She'd been ridiculously serious about her beekeeping duties, claiming she must keep the family bee-usiness alive. Yeah, Isaac thought the pun was overdone aswell. But when his mother dies an unexpected death, 13 year old Isaac is plagued with the guilt that somehow he's the one to blame.
