You know the story. The beginning and the end. A lone Rider and dragon prevailing against impossible odds. But what if they were changed? Another pair that takes up the mantle of responsibility and makes a mark on Alagaësia in their own way? What if Eragon had a twin sister and in the Spine, they found a red stone instead? What changes, then, starting from the very beginning? ======================================== An Inheritance Cycle fanfiction/rewrite, written in such a way that even those unfamiliar with the series can read without issue! An OC insert at the beginning of the first book where the difference in character, personality, and actions cause this story to diverge from the one we know slowly. Some of the first chapters are more or less simple edited copies of actual chapters from the books, mainly because there was simply not much to change. But as the story diverges, so will the chapters. Currently, I plan to rewrite the entirety of the first book, but that is a pretty huge goal, so we'll see. The biggest influence on this story will be you; your reviews and feedback! Please do not hesitate to drop your thoughts, but do be sensible and analytical about it! That is all, I hope you enjoy!

Percy Jackson just wants to live a normal life. At least, as normal as you can when your father is the God of the Sea. After defeating Gaia, he finally starts to settle down and unwind. But when Gaia exacts one final act of revenge, he's thrust into a new world, with new rules, and a new fight. Percy meets many strange people, and quickly aligns himself. But when a power he has long ago dealt with, but eternally feared, shows itself, he wonders if getting involved was worth it. Disclaimer: I have used characters and idea's from both the Percy Jackson series and Heroes of Olympus, both by Rick Riordan, as well as from the Inheritance Cycle, by Christopher Paolini. I do not own any of the characters or ideas from those series. I am more than willing to differentiate between what is my own and what I am using.

Percy Jackson has just finished his second war. He's happy, keeping the nightmares at bay with Annabeth. But you know the Fates. He can never get a break. And that's why he is one day sucked into another land. This land is strange. Dragons, elves, dwarves, and no Annabeth. Eragon has started his war campaign against Galbatorix, but it's almost over before it even starts. But then a strange new rider shows up, one who's dragon looks centuries old, but is only a couple of months old. He is wary of Percy, obviously, but Percy is his only way to win. Will their relationship blossom into friendship, or hate? I'm sorry if I butcher their names. Please tell me if I do!

The door to his cell opened, but he didn't look up. "I have food for you." The auburn haired woman said. "They're giving me a last meal then?" The boy replied flatly. "I guess it's the least they could do before they kill me." "They aren't going to kill you." He scoffed. "Right. They're just asked me all those questions and left me in a cell all night so they could let me go." "I didn't say they were letting you go." The woman corrected him, placing the tray on the bed next to him and crossing her arms. "Then what are they doing?" "They are banishing you." "What?!" His head shot up. "They're banishing me? From where?" "This world." The woman turned and started for the door. "Lady Artemis, I don't understand-" "You will soon." She stopped in the doorway and turned to face him. "Good luck Perseus." The door slammed shut and locked, leaving a very confused Percy Jackson to wonder about what his fate would be.

Percy and a few others have gotten bored. Zeus has stopped his bad habits that normally resulted in wars, Hera is on her best behavior and the wizarding world is at peace once more. This is a fan fiction of Inheritance, but doesn't start right at the beginning of the book so bear with me on that. This girl, Alexandra, literally gets sucked into the story, or rather, into the world of Alagaesia itself. She wakes in the middle of the Varden with modern clothes, her horse from home, and her ipod, but that's not all...destined to become a rider herself, she has the strength and grace of an elf, magnified even more by years of ballet, an awesome but horrific control over the elements and not surprisingly...Eragon's heart.

It has been 1 year since galbatorix was killed and eragon and his elven friends have found a home out of alagasia. Eragon meets an unfamiliar being on his flight with Saphira. The being is powerful enough to take over the whole alagasia and stop Eragon. Eragon is unsure if it will keep the peace or turn on them all.

Estrella Cadence has been missing from Carvahall for 2 years but when she turns up at the varden, things escalate for the good but also bad.

Iro is a Precursor Elf, a race that has long slept under the earth of Alagaësia. But when he wakes up, lost in the forests of Du Weldenvarden, he finds that he has been asleep of thousands of years. Just in time for the enemy of his people to return to the world.

Eragon and the elves travel to a far of land to find a place to train dragon riders. but when the training starts they find out something that they didn't think about nothing could have prepared them for this . A new evil arises.

When strangers come to Carvahall, Kenna and Eragon find themselves in danger and decide to take their dragons and leave. Their goal? Get to the rebel group known as the Varden deep in the mountains far away to the southeast. This is a series of one-shots I thought of as to how Roran discovers Eragon's secret. Well dragon rider secret anyway. Definitely not the basic Eragon fanfic. More revolving around already happened but could have occurred. Depending on which gets the best reaction I may or may not create that one-shot into an actual story. Well, they are kinda stories already. But it's a long one shot or short story. Your choice. Still comment on it though. Rambling again. Sorry. Comment, follow, and/or vote if you enjoy.
