Twenty years have passed since Galbatorix was defeated. The land is in turmoil. Only two dragon riders have been chosen since the eggs have passed around. Now three eggs. They are the hope of civilization. Dernhelm and his brother Hadduad, with no known father are destined for greatness. Only problem is. Which side will they pick? The king of Surda, King Orrin, wants power his found a way to make dragon eggs hatch to who he wants. He didnt count on the eggs hatching on three ordinary people. A year and a half after the defeat of Galbatorix at the hands of Eragon and the Varden, Alagaësia has moved forward - without Eragon. Abroad training the two new Riders that have been sent to him, Eragon's mind is attacked by a force far more powerful than Galbatorix was. The only problem? The only people around for thousands of leagues are Blödhgarm and the elves, the new Riders and their dragons and himself and Saphira. Who could this new threat be? Read more to find out! Miri has always assumed her life in Daret would be normal and simple, but everything changes with the single crack of a dragon's egg. Now a Rider, she and her dragon, Aradr, must leave home without her father's blessing and travel to first the vast forest of Du Weldenvarden, and then to the fortress of the legendary Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Bjartskular. Thorn and Murtagh may very well be on their way to freeing themselves of the Mad King's control over them, but will they choose to stay and fight him or escape, once and for all? With more secrets and ancient magics than ever, it'll take more than just battle prowess to stay alive for the new riders.

After escaping from slavers in Dras-Leona, Lorena travels with Eragon and Murtagh. The bonds between her and Murtagh grow strong and their affections become dunei. But how will these two hold up in Farthen Dûr, and in Urû'baen?

An Inheritance Cycle Fanficion ~ ~ ~ Ever since Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Bjartskular defeated the mad King Galbatorix 53 years ago, there has been peace in the land of Alagaësia. Dragon eggs have been ferried around to all the races of the land, save those who have no interest in them. Thus a new generation of Riders were born and trained under the direction of Saphira and her mighty Rider. Miriam, a farm girl from the village of Daret has heard these tales many times, but she believes she has no part in momentous history and heroic stories. So Miri is absolutely shocked when a dragon egg hatches for her. She doesn't have any idea how she, of all people, could be a Rider. Worse, she has no inkling of how she can leave life in Daret, more particularly her family, behind. Despite her misgivings about being a Rider, Miri finds herself embroiled deeply in a catastrophe that could mean the end of life in Alagaesia as she knows it. Can she save her world? It seems unlikely with the growing threat...

Percy and a few others have gotten bored. Zeus has stopped his bad habits that normally resulted in wars, Hera is on her best behavior and the wizarding world is at peace once more. Percy Jackson is shocked when everyone he had always considered his friends and family betrayed him. The gods have also turned on Percy and when they send him to an entirely new place as a punishment what will happen to him?

This is a future tale of Eragon and Saphira in the 21st century (or there abouts) it is my depiction of a fifth book written in inspiration from Christopher Paolinis' original Inheritance series. It is started after finishing the second book and waiting to start the third and fourth. There are some of the original characters those of which I give all credit to the original author but the newer characters are of my creation, yet always inspired by the original workings of Christopher Paolini.

Liduen is an elf child. She is born after Eragon leaves to restart the Riders, enjoy her adventure!

I published the prologue on my other account but I decided to make a new account so... yeah. I'm just restarting the book. Fanfiction for the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini, you don't have to read the series because I will explain everything, but I still 10/10 recommend it. Just read and give it a shot, I swear its decent... not really but whatever... keep in mind I'm only 13, so this is gonna suck. Buckle up, you're in for a rough ride.
