Lucilla Animus (Lucy) is the foster daughter of the Royal Dragon and Royal Goddess, Cervixa and Pretiositas, or as Lucilla calls them, Cervi and Pret. When Cervixa and Pretiositas disappear in the year x777, she runs and runs, and collapses by a tree named Bratus, and is taken in by Layla Heartfelia, and her verceed (transforming exceed), Regella. Her second foster mother died of a sickness 3 years later, and her foster father blamed her for it, eventually being killed by his own foster daughter after years of abuse. She is broken, hurt, and unstable, never smiling, laughing, or emoting anything but sorrow and anger. She and Regella join a dark guild, by the name of Leragius. One day, a guild named Fairytail comes in attempts to stop Exsertus from trashing the town it's in, Dias Town. A fire mage, an ice mage, a sky mage, two cats, and the one that stood out the most... A red haired Requip mage. She was strict yet caring, and never left her comrades aside. This... stranger, this new person she doesn't even know... Made her smile. She made her feel... s t a b a l i z e d .

Her mother died at the age of ten and her father neglects her. The man is so focused on his business and makes no time for her. Every sunset, she goes to the window of her bedroom and stares outside. She always dreams that there is more to this world than the life she is living now. One day, she was out shopping at the market until she accidently bumped into a stranger. The woman had long, scarlet hair and dark brown eyes. She hadn't known why, but she felt a strange emotion when she first saw her. Things become even more intense when her father transfers her to another school. The place was called Fairy Academy. There, she would meet new people. This was an opportunity for her to make new friendships. Just then, she meets her again. She meets the name redheaded beauty she saw back when she was shopping at the market. Erza Scarlet Belserion was her name in fact.
