Lily's life was as perfect as she could make it: the ideal house, the best friend she could ever ask for, and, can't forget, the three dogs she wouldn't trade for the world. Even with the seemingly perfect life, she still couldn't shake the fact that she never felt truly alive. She always felt out of sync with the rest of the world. What she didn't realize was that her life was about to be flipped upside down, and nothing is as it seems.
Jacob had his mission: find the woman and bring her back to her true home alive and in one piece. What he didn't account for in his plans was catching feelings for said woman. As the son of an Olympian in the middle of a hidden war between the Gods and the people who would love to see them dead, he was taught that feelings have no use in his life. The only thing that matters is staying alive and completing the jobs. But when this spitfire of a woman forces him to rethink his whole life, he is torn between these new feelings or finishing the job and acting like nothing in his life has changed.
When worlds collide, and myths become reality, will Lily choose to go back to her everyday life, or follow her heart, and her destiny, and take up the roll she was born to do?
