Erwin proposed and Levi could have been happier. The only people that know are their friends and close higher ups. It begins with the new scouts that were brave enough to give their hearts to humanity, the day they officially joined the survey corps when Hange had the AMAZING idea of suggesting that they hide their rings and affection for each other so that the kids could speculate between each other who is dating who (if they are even interested that is) - she insisted that it'd be a great idea, on top of that she would also take part in it, so everyone got involved much to the dislike of Levi. Getting close with scouts isn't something Levi usually does but he couldn't help himself with this bunch, he looked at them as if they were his own kids. He's only had this with 2 other kids but he would've been more of a uncle or even older brother to them. But what lies behind their relationship? What brought them to this point in time? Discrimination and violence against Omegas are the norm. Even the government is controlling their fates by having strict rules around mating to keep up birth rates. Omegas are only allowed to be romantically involved and mate with Alphas and they have to take personality tests to get matched with someone of the opposite second gender that is compatible with them. But of course, just because some numbers say you will be compatible doesn't reflect true feelings or even being fated to be together by pure bond. No computer could ever calculate that. Erwin's family are highly active in fighting for Omegas-rights, trying to demolish the practice of matching. So much so that Erwin even went into politics to achieve some change. --- Come join the ride of angst, fluff and eventual smut. Trough childhood memories and current nightmares. Everything starts out rather peaceful - typical calm before the storm until shit hits the fan. But a happy ending is planned, because my own Eruri-loving heart couldn't handle anything else.
