this story is inspired by the monster hunter series shinji ikari was name known and despised, he did what he was told and he was punished for it, but those skills have taken a new shape, having been pushed out of unit-01 by his mother through minus space and into a new world, shinji was able to put the skills he gained to far greater use, becoming a monster hunter, he had a storied career and even got married to his handler, though the relationship didnt work out, and he got divorced, they were still close friends, and working partners having gone on what he hoped to be his final mission before he could retire and enjoy life, he finds that his mission is far from over
