Devin Reynolds and Brittany Tanner were once high school sweethearts... and then they weren't. Brittany has accepted that she and Devin aren't together anymore and now she must go on with life. This is her first year in college and she only plans to make the most of it and focus on school.. that is until her ex shows up. Devin just wants to explain why he chose to leave Brittany so that they can move on, but her admirer stands in the way. Edward just wants the chance to treat her better than anyone else has ever done, especially her ex that needs to move on....

I still remember the first day I stepped foot there. It was a day filled with both joy and sorrow. Which was better, I have yet to figure out. Even now, as long as I’ve been here, the question still dawns on me. Was this a good thing, or bad? Many wouldn’t give it a second thought, yet many people are pessimists. I eventually came to the conclusion that I was broken, after all my dad had zero problem working at a place he hated for 20+ yrs. I told my mom that day what I thought. She said, "Jake, you are not broken. You have always marched to the beat of a different drummer. You are just made different" She was right! I was wired differently than most people! I started thinking of ways to earn a living on my own terms, and with a smile on my face! I thought about what made ME happy for once and then I figured out how to start making money off of those things.
