Scarlett was a normal teen girl a year ago. She had everything. A great boyfriend who gave her unconditional love, friends that filled her with warmth, parents that would do anything for her. Other children don't like Hospitals, maybe it's the smell of chemicals in the hallways, the cold emptiness of rooms at night. The screams from the daily operations and experiments. There is a secret organization. They are feared all around the world. Just the name brings fear to people. Their name is G.A.M.A. Genetic Alterations and Mutations Academy. But they are anything but an academy. 16 years ago a scientist ran a project called project X. She successfully created humans with a chemical formula. She gave the humans strengths and abilities. G.A.M.A kept the subjects imprisoned in the academy for 12 years. Then she finally realised that what they were doing was wrong. She broke them out and ran away where she thought no one would ever find them. They led a normal life for two years. Then the academy managed to track them down. They killed the scientist but the subjects got away. They were on the run for a year until the academy eventually tracked them down as well. Now the two subjects live with a loving family and go to Northwestern Academy For Bright Students. They thought everything was going to be fine. Well, it turns out they were wrong.

White walls, locked doors, and the overbearing scent of cleanliness and medicine that Isra has come to hate is all she can manage to remember about her life as it is. She has no identity, only a number to validate her existence and the constant anger she feels towards the scientists that lead her through countless excruciatingly painful experiments that wring her sanity dry. Isra realizes that her pointless and painful life is slowly leading her to a breaking point she has no control over.
