War is inevitable. war is coming. War is beginning. The problem? no one knows it. A land of both magic and reality, split between mortals and immortals. They co-exist in peace. Mortals stay away from the mystery of immorality due to myths and legends. There has been no war in centuries. Only one young mortal knows the plans of the mortal royals - about the war they are preparing for. Isabella Valentine has always bore the weight of others on her shoulders. She cares too much and feels too deeply. Her compassion and sweet nature is rare in a world of such misery. Many envy her for it, others cherish her for it. She fought to be the young lady she is today. She was brought up by monsters, crushed by those who should have built her up and was broken by the man who raised her. She never let the darkness that threatened to thread through her heart destroy any of her light. Her greatest strength has always been her kindness. The world of immortals is so different from the mortal world that Isabella knows. She reads about it a lot, in fact she is fascinated by the impossibilities. She is one of very few who aren't frightened of the unknown. Leonardo Blackwood is part of the unknown. He is the king of the dark faeries. An infamous, powerful and ruthless king. He is the type of character that features in the stories told at bedtime by parents to scare their children away from the immortal side of the land. He use to be charming and warm, now he is calculating and cold. His father's death turned him into a monster. He is the most powerful faerie to have ever lived according to records. He sure as hell lives up to that title. He never thought he could love until he began to dream of a gentle mortal girl. There are parts of history even books cannot provide, gaps that leave us wondering. It is time Isabella discovers exactly what has been missed on those pages. We can only hope love and secrets don't get in the way. A tale for those who crave their own fairytale 🫶

Her bloodline is secure. Her blade was steady. But tradition is never so obedient. Princess Harriet, sick with a curse no healer can name, trades places with Lunette, a girl who should never have existed at court at all. Stolen at birth, raised in shadows, Lunette now wears silks and secrets, standing in for a royal she barely knows in a world that would destroy her if it knew the truth. And Leni? Leni was never meant to stand among heirs. Wild as wind and storm, the overlooked daughter is drawn by something older, a magic pulsing in her bones, answering a call the others cannot hear. When the vine-threshold opens and the Choosing begins, the ruin stirs. Each girl carries a secret. Each path demands a cost. And deep beneath the moonlit branches, the garden watches, waiting to decide who is worthy, who is false, and who must be unmade.

Brin's idyllic life is shattered in one night. A Fae attack leaves her village burning and her best friend at death's door. And when one of the monsters offers to save him, she does not hesitate. But no Fae ever gives a gift freely. Now, whenever Brin falls asleep, she finds herself face to face with the monster. And he makes it painfully clear that he wants something from her. Running for her life, with only a friendly thief and a taciturn murderer to aid her, Brin must find a way to protect the people she loves. But her dark bargain haunts every step. And there seems to be no escape from the Fae who stalks her dreams. What to expect: 1. A heroine with strong moral convictions. 2. Romantic fantasy with a fairly dark plot, but plenty of cozy moments. 3. Strong emphasis on atmosphere and thoughtful story development. 4. Slow-burn, series-long enemies-to-friends-to-lovers arc. 5. Themes of found family, self-sacrifice, and unconditional love. 6. A fun twist on the "chosen one" trope.

Good morning, I'm Kalliope Aoidós (yes, spelled like this: Καλλιόπη Ἀοιδός... pretty impressive, right?), Technical Account Manager at a company in... well, I'm sure you don't really need my CV for this. Let's try again. Hey, I'm Kalliope Aoidós, and I've got a little problem. Okay, more like an incurable, family-heritage problem. Technically, it's genetic-something my family has been conveniently passing down for centuries. One of my great-great-great-great-grandparents thought it was totally appropriate to insult his muse, calling her a "good-for-nothing" and a "sellout." How charming, right? Too bad that muse was THE Muse after whom I'm named. Apparently, she's not exactly the warm and fuzzy type. So why on earth do I have the honor of carrying the name of the one who cursed my entire family tree? Oh, that was my grandmother's brilliant idea. In a way, they "sacrificed" me to her by giving me her name, hoping it would change her mind about the curse. Spoiler alert: It didn't. So here I am, just like hundreds of my ancestors, stuck in the same lovely swamp. I'm a Book Jumper or, as my grandmother (who has a flair for dramatic epithets) likes to call me, a βιβλιοποδητής, which basically means "walker of books." And these are my stories. Or, more accurately, my delightful misadventures. Copyright 2025 AnemoneMarino. All Rights Reserved. [BOOK ONE OF THE VAMPIRE AND THE GHOST SERIES] She's dead, he's undead. An unusual duo make their way through the modern world, and its modern challenges. Annalise Redwood had spent too much time alone, floating in a centuries old house. The very same house she was murdered in 5 years before. She'd watched people leave, come in, investigate and even squat in this house. Yet none of them stayed long. And more importantly none of them saw her. It was hell, and she swore she was cursed. But this all changes, on the 5th anniversary of her death when a seemingly normal young man walks in. And he sees her. Eugene Cubert was old. Too old. He was done with life, had lived, breathed (well not really) and seen too much for one soul to bare. Quite frankly all he wanted to do was find a nice house to live in and spend the rest of the century comfortably locked away from all of the supernatural and natural. He's visiting his 5th house that day, when he hears it. A woman, screaming to be seen. And then he sees her. And nothings quite the same after that. ---------------------------------------------------- #No.2 in paranormal 3/7/2021 #No.1 in ghost 9/7/2021 #No.8 in murder 2/8/2021 Updates weekly! This story is a HISTORICAL FANTASY with GENDERBENDER (TG) & GIRLS' LOVE (GL) themes. In the misty depths of October, Finley MacDonell, a 13-year-old boy, traveled to the Isle of Skye with his uncle, Professor Fingal MacDougall, and his two assistants to assist with the archeology dig at Dunvegan Castle. Finley had always been sensitive to the unknown, experiencing unexplainable visions and sensations. However, upon arriving on the shores of Skye, he caught the attention of the faeries. One fateful evening, Finley's life took a drastic turn. While searching for his teammate, Conall, he stumbled upon the man mauling a seal pup. Finley attempted to intervene, but Conall's drunken rage led him to drown the boy in Loch Dunvegan. The seals, witnesses to the tragedy, begged the selkie faerie to spare Finley's life. The faerie, moved by their pleas, used her magical coat to restore Finley's life, but at a steep cost: he would forever be 'fairy marked.' Adopted by Queen Áine of the Seelie Court, who transformed him into a female Daoine Sìth named Finnea. With large butterfly-like wings and pointy ears, Finnea embarked on a new life, leaving her human past behind. Two years have passed, and Finnea has almost forgotten her life as Finley. She now scouted the boundaries of the Unseelie Lands, ever vigilant for threats to the Seelie Court. However, upon discovering the slaughtered Unseelie faeries, Finnea rescued the Unseelie Queen from an iron bell and rushed back to the Seelie Court to warn them of the return of the ancient Fomorians.
