She tries to hide it from everyone, embarrassed by her hobby -or, some would say, obsession-, but when her favourite writer, a celebrity in the world of fantasy novels accepts to meet her it feels like everything was meant to be. That's how Emily finds herself in the middle of nothing, in Florida. That's how real magic comes into her world; with a prophecy, a book and two surnames.

It was not unheard of for humans to fight with the fae but when Mazikeen meets Mateo everything changes.

I don't ship Jinkx and DeLa but I really wanted to write this, I felt like it would be cute. (This is not their normal selves, It's about the drag personas) Jinkx is a mermaid and BenDeLa is a Fairy, they discover you, their new found child at the lake.

It was never easy to be the one they wanted to save. She'd see them argue when she got hurt, blame each other when she cried, or get triggered by dark rumors. Be it scratch or scrap, someone was to blame for not keeping an eye on her. Since the age of twenty, they treated her like a doll ready to break; at seventy, she had enough. With a messenger bag by her side and a letter of approval from her grandfather in hand, she leaves the safety of her home to find the strength to protect everything she holds dear.
