But then Joker and his gang break into one of ACE Chemicals' newest facilities, and Batman, Nightwing, and Robin move to stop him. It turns out, Joker is after ACE Chemicals' newest invention: Synthigel, a bioorganic compound used to create synthetic organs. Batman doesn't know what Joker wants with the Synthigel, but he and Robin confront him together--and Robin tackles Joker into the vat of Synthigel, killing them both. Gotham City, 2239: A crime war rages in Gotham City. Synthigel is all anyone will spend their money on.
