Losing important women in his life multiple times by fate's decree, Iskren was introduced to a mysterious girl his age whom he later regarded as a life mentor. A girl he called Miss Painter. Their encounter began with a riddle from Miss Painter, "There is a canned drink. Suddenly, the can falls to the floor until its contents leak out. Yet, nothing triggered the fall or the leaking of the can. The question is, why did this happen?" How can Iskren be called more orphaned than orphaned children? Who is Miss Painter really? What happened to the important women who disappeared from Iskren's life? What is Iskren's life like with his adoptive family? What is the situation with Iskren's biological family? Although this poem was written in a sarcastic tone, I realiz see e that this subject is not a laughing matter. This is not completely autobiographical, I did experience what is the "cause" of conflict in this poem, but that's about it.
