This is a contest entry for the february contest, «February has affection».

An epistolary short story, "The Letters Of 'Tokunboh And Irene" tells the story of the titular characters - a husband and wife who write passionate letters to each other that reveal aspects of their lives. Its themes of love, loss and hope are tempered by a quaint humour that permeates all of the proceedings, coating the story with an honesty that - it is hoped - people will appreciate.
