Cedric was a well-known swordsman, always protecting his older brother. After helping his brother with a coup d'état, he was now the brother of the nation's Ruler. He stayed by his brother's side, always supporting every decision he made; he was proud to be part of it all. Cedric could've never expected that his brother would betray him. After being framed for the attempted murder of his brother, Cedric's title was stripped away. Little did he know it was all due to the harbored jealousy of his brother. After finding out the truth, it was too late. As he stood in front of the thousands of citizens nearing his end, Cedric screamed at his brother. He pleaded to god for a chance at revenge. The hatred and betrayal he felt couldn't save him; there, his body dropped as his brother pushed the sword through his chest. After a final whisper to his ear, Cedric's brother walked away and let the executioner finish the rest. Cedric awoke in an unfamiliar place, a new body, an era, and a new chance at life. In the body of someone, he'd only read of in history books. Was what he read about this person the truth? Would Cedric be able to live a different life than before? Only time will tell.

This story follows Duncan Jones, a twenty year old living in the wastes of Boston, MA. I was heavily inspired by Fallout 4, and many other Fallout Spin-Offs, on this site. To the girl I used to know. Broken but perfect. This is about one of my old best friends who I dont speak with anymore. She actually ended up doing very well for herself and became a very positive person. As happy as I am for her, I'll always miss our little talks back in the day.

Hourglass Hearts is a short story inspired by one of my close friends, who at the time was going through a rough patch with his girlfriend, they decided to take a break from each other and he waited for her to come back so they could rekindle their relationship but unfortunately after all the wait she decided to break things off.
