The story is set in 1967/1968 around the time of Syd Barrett's departure from Pink Floyd. The chapters are set so as each one is an event in his life that may have inspired a song on his solo album "The Madcap Laughs."

After an intense shopping trip, Luke had forced me to go for a coffee after his 'gruelling experience'. "Come on Rosy, how many dresses does a girl need to try on?" he moaned...again. "At least 6!" I write poetry like everyday. And just wanted to post some of them (not all cause that wouldn't be very pretty). My biggest insperation was my seventh grade math teacher. Thank You Mrs. (not gonna say your name). Thank you for being the most boringest math teacher EVER!!! If you weren't, than i wouldn't have written these poems. YOUR THE BEST!!! Even though your teaching skills suck!!! :) LOVE YA!!!
