You know those emotions you feel not sexual, but the ones that make you want to scream and cry. We all feel them but this is what I feel.

On Christmas Eve, a teenage girl encounters a lost child who does - and doesn't - want help getting home. A sweet sentimental story. ( I wrote the first draft of this story in 1988, filed it away and forgot about it. Almost forty years later, I came across the manuscript again and decided to flesh it out and share it with family and friends. It was inspired by stories I had read in the women's magazines my mother used to buy in the 1950's -- typically featuring wholesome middle-class characters, with a familiar plot device and a feel-good ending. Baby boomers will probably recognize the genre, but others will also enjoy it. It's about a 15-minute read.)
