This is about self harm, and how I feel about things. Self harm isn't a joke, it's something that is very serious. It's an addiction. It slowly starts to kill you on the inside. That's how it makes me feel all the time.

Alone, Numb and Lost. Nowhere to go and no where to disappear too. Feeling like everyone around you doesn't understand. Not even the people you call friends. Melanie finds herself in her own little tortured bubble and can't get out.

I have been working on these poems for over a year now. It has been a way to cope with the pain of my past. In these poems I try to describe my emotions and hope that maybe one of you can relate. P.S. I'm also a Christian so some of my poems have the mention of faith and God. If that makes you uncomfortable in any way please move on.

perfect friends, perfect grades, but not a perfect homelife, parents died and her sister with her abusive boyfriend, she stopped eating and had suicidal thoughts, she wanted to give it all up she didn't tell her friends but they knew they weren't with the nessa they loved, the asked her what was wrong numerous times but she ignored the question and changed the subject they booked her in for therapy and she was reluctant to go but her friends dragged her in and there was her therapist, he was young and looked like he only graduated college one night she never returned from one of her session and her therapist was off the grid aswell do you think this was intentional? --------------‐--------------------------------------------------------- Highest rankings 1st in awareness

Theses poems are ones that I was inspired by based on my work in the mental health field. The poems will take narratives between a person that has mental illness and people who don't .

Many things happen, it's hard to hold on. But writing makes it easier. So, here's for you, my share of pain.

This story is very personal to me and I feel like I needed to share it.
