Maya is a transferee with blue hair, too many piercings, and a record that says "Danger." Leo is the half-Japanese Student Council President with a heart too soft for his own good and a bento box for every occasion.
They made a deal: He fixes her grades, she fixes his "perfect son" reputation. It was supposed to be a simple trade. No feelings, no strings.
But how is Maya supposed to stay "tough" when the school's Golden Boy keeps treating her like she's something precious? And how can Leo be so smart, yet so oblivious to the fact that he's looking at his "best friend" like she's his whole world?
In the basement of the library, between Calculus and cherry blossoms, the lines are getting blurred.
"Leo, friends don't look at each other like that."
"Like what, Maya-san?"
"Like I'm the only person in the room."
