You've read the stories, you know, the ones about humans being turned into vampires. They're usually some romantic tale with the hottest vampire ever created that falls instantly in love with some random girl next door. First comes mystery, than the crush turning into fascination, romantic feelings that are followed by the realization of true love and possibly eternal soul mates, the major discovery or confession, some epic climax ensues, sprinkle some fake fairy dust everywhere, and then neatly wrap the story up with a happy ever after bow. All good parts for what would seem like a great story, right? Well my story, you can take all of that bullshit and shove it up your ass. My name is Dayon and I'm 23 years old. The night I was turned was the night I was suppose to die. Freshly plucked from the streets just a few blocks south of my college dorm, I was turned and thrown into an underground fighter's pit just so that I would be an easy kill. So they got me lessens in fighting. This started when I was 3. I'm now 17, 18 in a month. I'm a brown belt in karate, right below black belt, and better in boxing/illegal street fighting than my teacher. My parents are now dead. They got in a car crash on the way to my grandparent's. Their love was really strong so I'm happy they at least died together. They started dating when they were in 3rd grade and not once broke up or went to bed without a fight resolved. Now I was sent to a family, in California while I'm from Florida, that think I'm a goody-two-shoes. What no one on this side of the country knows, is that this "geeky nerd" is really Shadow, the most feared street fighter in, now, all of America.
