💮This poem is about a friend of mine who regrets his toxic behavior in a previous relationship when we were both in high school (Grade 10 Learners). For the time being, and yeah I put myself in his shoes (As a reader, you will be placed in a situation in which you were once a toxic person). I used "flowers" as a metaphor in order to avoid using harsh words. In general, the poem expresses his regrets through verbiage. (A free verse poem by the way hehe muah)💮 Also, I'd appreciate it if you had your own take on the poem, if it was relatable to you not only in a romantic sense, but also in a friendship aspect, and so on.
