I saw him standing in the shop but it feels like he's not there. "You don't know me." I sense a smirk by the end of his word but when I turn on the ball of my feet, his face was stone cold again as if I heard it wrong. His words sounded as if he answered an unspoken question. I started to feel annoyed and I try to pin him with stare but to my utter surprise, he just return it, black and cold. I feel all hairs on my body rises as his lips twitch like an animal snarling. "What did you say my name was?" He asked, his voice was taunting. I open my mouth but nothing came out. I really felt uneasy. Have you ever come across people who tugged at your HEARTSTRINGS and changed your life like magic? HEARTSTRINGS is an anthology of thirty poems dedicated to the people I hold close in my heart. The final part of this poem collection includes a narrative inspired by these amazing people. It also serves as a prologue to a novel that you will first see exclusively on Wattpad.

Writing poetry is my magical carriage whenever I want to leave my reality and indulge in a place where colors are million times brighter and emotions are immeasurably deeper. Once in a while, I want to visit that heavenly (but imaginary!) place so I could have a better outlook of the real world. So now, I've got three poems about love and fantasy to share with you guys. Can love really transcend time and space? Is fate inconstant or is it set in stone? Gertrude is set to marry the man her parents chose for her. It was the norm at that time and she had accepted it as her fate... until an uninvited man enters her home one summer night. Every one of us loved someone from a distance, pined for someone that is so hard to reach. I am much in awe and in love with the wonders of mathematics and it's fine even when my love remains unrequited. Ever since I was little I've always wanted to write a poem about an ice cream man. I think dirty ice cream is an important part of everyone's childhood. There was a time when happiness is buying dirty ice cream from a cart, ice cream not bought in cartons or gallons but bought straight from the cart in so many colors. The best days.
