It all started on an ordinary wednesday afternoon - at Pili town event, a quiet seat at McDonald's, and a group of strangers who made her feel a little less alone. Among them was a guy she couldn't quite remember... yet somehow couldn't forget. When she answered a lost phone, she never expected it would lead her back to him- Kien Joaquin, her childhood friend, the boy who once took her picture in secret. But before she could make sense of it all, the world shifted in an instant... turning into a surreal dream filled with chaos, courage, friendship, and a sea painted in impossible colors. In that world, love felt real for her. In that world, she was seen. When she woke up... a single photograph remained. Maybe it was all just a dream or maybe, some memories remember us, too.

When we are young, the world is easier, kinder, happier. They tell us we are special and that we can do anything. If we mess up, they fixed it for us. If we do well, they celebrate us. We are treated special, even if we do nothing special. When we are young, the world is simple. As long as we work hard, we are rewarded. We study well and we get high grades. We finish with honors and everyone celebrates us, applauds us, admires us. Then we grow up and suddenly the world changes in a flash. Its been years after we graduated, and our diplomas are suddenly useless as we realize we are still jobless. And the parents who worked to support are suddenly disappointed or ashamed of us. Then finally, after more work and time than what we seemed to deserve, we finally land a decent job, and now we work forty-hour weeks slaving from paycheck to paycheck, as we put our siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews or kids to school, as we put our bodies through wear and tear to be the providers we are suddenly expected to be. We are berated if we do not share what we worked our ass off for. We are accused of being selfish and self-serving. We feel guilty for wanting more for ourselves when we have the right to. We feel guilty when we try to give ourselves what we should be having. Gone are the days when we were cute, smart kids who always did so well. Now we are selfish so called career people who will have no energy or time for family, no matter how much we give. Forget about putting down your own roots and living your own life. The new rule is you were born here, and so you now work for them. As for career, turns out intelligence or attitude is not really enough. Hard work does not even scratch the surface. To get promoted, you need powerful connections, to kiss ass, to violate every principle you've been ingrained with. Because that is the simple truth, shit floats. So after everything what will you be left with?

Their bond, more than a scandal, shook the fragile balance between two worlds. Defying the laws of his lineage, Elian risked everything even his freedom and eternal life for a secret love that burned like fire, awakening the Ancient Powers that long slumbered. The Elders of Biringan gave their warnings. Elian's parents knew that one day, he would need to become stronger than anyone. His mother took steps to prepare him for that time, while his father journeyed across realms in search of allies who could free him from the prison of the Forgotten Stars, where he was bound by the Chains of the Heartless Moon. Their love meant to remain hidden led to both a miracle and a threat the world had never seen. Three children were born beings of the Two Worlds. And as the children grew within Mira's womb, so too did the forces that sought either to claim them... or to destroy them. The Watchers, ancient keepers of destiny, saw Amee as a weapon. The Elders feared Liam's blood, for it carried the forbidden lineage of Elian. And the mystical Lords of Unmaking sought to erase Aelani before she could become the thread that would unravel their order. With the aid of divine beings, mystical forces, and the strength of her family, Mira stood her ground. A single family shattered the silence and their legacy might be the one to shatter the world itself. Can love truly bridge the Law of the Two Worlds? Or is the price far too great to bear?

And Lonewolf, my rebel poet alter ego-confident, wild, and wounded. This is a confession, a reflection, a rebellion. This is the real me.

"From Failure to Becoming" is a raw and honest reflection of my younger self-lost in addiction, crushed by failure, and drowning in self-doubt. But within that darkness, I found the power to rise, to self-educate, and to transform. This is not a story of perfection-this is a journey of street realism, of growth, of becoming. To the ones who feel broken: failure is not the end-it might be your beginning.
