It has been two weeks since the battle at the Crystal Tower. Admes had fled, Alenka changed sides, and Revenant's Toll was undergoing a recovery period as Eorzea's Warrior of Light laid comatose. Without Dariya on the front lines or with a clear enemy in sight, Eorzea's leaders would turn their attention to Ishgard with the hopes of reigniting the alliance that the Holy See once had with their people. However, to achieve this, they had to look towards the enemy that had been plaguing Ishgard for an entire century with it's dreaded song; dragonkind. A war was coming, and with it, the final pages of a 100-year long struggle that could very well decide the fate of all Eorzea. Though, unbeknownst to the likes of her people, Hydaelyn's realm of prosperity and progression would soon be faced with another, mysterious adversary...

The Warriors of Light, simultaneously remembered and forgotten by the residents of Eorzea. They still keep hope in the hearts of many. A lot has happened in the life of Yuhki Aliapoh, a young Miqo'te. She had lost her hometown, her family, and her friends. Taken in by a young Viera named Yuhree and his adoptive brother Carbon, a runaway Au Ra, she lived a rather introverted life outside of Ishgard. When she sets out into New Gridania to learn the art of the lance, she doesn't expect to be roped into an adventure that would mark her down in history... as a Warrior of Light. Final Fantasy XIV: Other Chronicle is an FFXIV fanfiction that is planned to span across 5 seasons and tell an original story within the Final Fantasy XIV universe, the first being Black Ishgard. It tells the tale of Eniro, a Lalafellin Rouge who was exiled from his guild after being framed for a murder he never committed. Eniro is found by an Au Ra named Cyprus who offers to clear his name, and the two of them alongside many other allies work to retain the Scions of the Seventh Dawn's reputation and restore hope to Eniro's future. This story will contain spoilers for all of Final Fantasy XIV. Nothing in this story (save for the plot and the ownership of Dariya Lithos and Eniro Niro) belong to me, and are the property of SQUARE ENIX and my friends who allowed them to use their characters in this story respectively.

This is just going to be a series of stories that I intend to try and write about some FFXIV character, some based on my own FFXIV characters or ones I just make up for the purpose of this little anthology. Final Fantasy 14 is owned by Square Enix as are the locations and majority of the characters featured in this story.

3 months after the events of the Dragonsong War, peace, finally, has returned to the land of Eorzea. New heroes have been given a chance to stake their claim, and new adventures show themselves at every affable turn without pause for those who wish to pursue them. However, even with the land united and the future bright, there is much and more to be done following the century-long battle that had reached its climax, and while much is unpredictable, the City-States of Eorzea look to bring themselves up to snuff the only way they know how; proving to each other that they have what it takes to handle any kind of lurking darkness.
