His first steps lead him to a psychiatric asylum, where he meets one of the patients - Lila, who claims to be from another time as well and says they can help each other out... No, this isn't quite the story you're expecting... Five is a promising actor stuck in a creatively hollow role on a never-ending daytime romcom, while Lila is a florist with big dreams working in her parents' flower shop. Their carefully routine lives are thrown completely off balance thanks to a chaotic morning, a packed subway car, and an iced coffee that ends up all over a very expensive suit.

Finding a decent apartment wasn't easy, especially when you looked sixteen, maybe seventeen on a good day. Five might have had the mind of an old man, but landlords weren't exactly lining up to hand him a lease. Lila, on the other hand, wasn't thrilled about living alone, especially now that she was single and pregnant. Not just because she wasn't used to it, but because, in her current condition, she wanted it even less. And let's be honest, who in their right mind would willingly sign up for a crying baby in a few months? So, moving in together was the logical solution. Strictly temporary, of course. With no powers and a rebooted world to navigate, they had to start somewhere. How hard could it be?

They were ready for the end, but it was only the beginning. The Hargreeves family has survived another apocalypse, but now they face another difficult task: sort out all their private problems and wrongs they thought they would never have time to resolve. A story about how they would all deal with what happened between Five and Lila and what their future could be... The original one-shot grew into a more comprehensive story. A story I wrote together with my dear readers and fellow fans of the show. And this time, it's not just a canon rewrite-because everything that happened in the series finale still happened here. Only this time, Five and Lila have been given another chance. A chance to try again... and maybe fix things just a little better. But it won't be that easy-because for a long time, they don't even remember they've turned back time. So how will it end this time? Canon Rewrite, Season 4

Diego wants his wife back and is willing to do anything to get it... What might it look like if Lila and Five forgot their years on the subway? Would Diego have a chance again or would their feelings be stronger even if they didn't remember what happened between them? I had one darker idea when I was thinking up the Survival story, but I didn't use it and went a different way. On the other hand, I think it could be an interesting alternate version of the story. Especially for those who prefer something more angsty and dramatic. So we'll see what the reactions are. My apologies to Diego fans, but he really will be capable of anything in this story. In one world, they sacrifice themselves to destroy branching timelines. In another world, sacrifices are made so that branching timelines could continue. Kind of weird and unfortunate for everyone involved. I think there's another option... and maybe that's the way to make things right for everyone. Here's an idea for a little crossover between the worlds of The Umbrella Academy and Loki. Major spoilers for both series. I recommend reading it if you know both stories, otherwise it could be quite confusing. But I will try to explain everything in the story as well. The main focus of the story is centered on Five, Lila and Diego as they deal with their situation. Elements from the series Loki are primarily represented by the TVA, while the story of Loki and Sylvie serves as a minor side plot.
