After Tairre Reed begrudingly abandoned her reckless and untamed life in California, replacing it with family-friendly Hurricane, Utah- nothing could have prepared her for the unexplainable increase in missing children cases. However, crossing paths with the wayward and rebellious Michael Afton was the one thing that felt like home.

The whole village (Knuckles, Amy, Tails, and Sticks and the other villains) played a prank on Sonic by pretending to be the legendary Evening Reaper (a being that was said to take anyone to punish those who do harm). They wouldn't stop teasing him and scaring him with the Evening Reaper thing until one evening and that was the day things took a bad turn when the 'real' Evening Reaper showed up and took him. But nothing is as it seems.
