If I had to give it a theme I'd say Action, Supernatural and Sci-fi. The main 6 leaguers are shown as teens (kind of a rule in this genre, OG Teen Titans, Young Justice and Supersons) in a gang. When the gang's plan to cause trouble and "robin-hood" the rich has unforeseen concerns, Meta-humans goes from being oppressed to being outlawed and rounded up. Now they need to take action and help who they can even though it's just them. Bruce & Clark: Best Friends; Bruce has the brains and plans, Clark has the morals and fights.
