Now, twenty years later, their son, Harry, who will soon be crowned king, announces that his first proclamation to give four selected children from the Isle of the Lost a chance to live in Auradon, away from the influence of their villainous parents, despite his father's protests. He chooses Timothèe, son of Nicole, Calum, son of Dave, Scarlett, daughter of Melanie and Florence, daughter of Deborah. It is 1840, and New York's biggest party is about to be held. The Purcell family is one of the richest families in the whole state, and its three daughters are ready to take on a husband. This party is the perfect place to find said man; the party of the decade, it is, and this year, the sisters have decided to expand its purpose. Twenty carefully selected invites were sent out to young men and women from all over the world with the hope of forming a few romantic pairs. Their mission is to find their "other half" at the party, for a brooch that is given to a woman matches the colour of a cufflink given to the men, creating a perfect pair. When the party ends and each finds their pairing, sisters included, they are to spend a few extra weeks in an guest house owned by the Purcells in hopes of concluding some happily-ever-after endings. If only it was that simple for everyone. Annalise Purcell, the middle child of the three beauties, isn't as easy to please as her sisters. Not only is she hooked on a former love interest who mysteriously makes his way back into the state of New York, but a man with far too high expectations and very strict rules is determined to have her hand in marriage by the end of the wedding season, even though she despises him. Can true love bloom like the flowers in early spring for the sister? Or will she have no choice but to give herself to the man she sees every night in her nightmares?
