High school junior Clementine Decker lives her life like a "modern-day" flower child in 1994. She lives with her devout Christian parents who give Clem enough freedom for a girl her age, but she longs for more. She longs to see what the world looks like beyond her New York village. She gets the chance when she meets a new student in her grade at her school, teenage rebel Julian Casablancas. Julian's lifestyle is a lot like Clem's, and although he takes some getting used to, they hit it off, first as friends, then as lovers. Clem's parents disapprove of Julian at first, but with their blessing, the young couple spend the summer after their junior year traveling the nation in Julian's van, including a stop at Summerfest in Wisconsin. Clem finally gets her chance to travel with the one she loves, but homesickness gets the best of her. Will the world be everything Clem has dreamed of, or will she spend the entire trip longing for home?

MAY CONTAIN TRIGGERING CONTENT. BE AWARE 🐺⭐️ Remus Lupin was no ordinary child, obviously. No normal child had flowers growing out of their skin. No normal child had flowers depending on them to eat and drink properly and get enough sun. You see, Remus Lupin was a human-plant hybrid. The first to be exact. It was something that Lyall and Hope Lupin had spent their lives work creating. Many trials had failed, none of them working out quite right - all of them had died in the end. The goal was to create a human that didn't need to eat or drink because they would be able to photosynthesize. But it didn't work, instead they had created a human with flowers growing out of him. And those flowers all depended on him, the opposite of what they wanted to happen. He was a healthy boy nonetheless and they could not bring themselves to get rid of the progress they made with this one. This one experiment that they had actually somewhat gotten right. All evidence and knowledge is valuable, especially when it comes to the research and experiments that created Remus Lupin. It's something that others can't seem to recreate, or at least not without Remus. They need him in order to take another step forward in human biology. But no one knows where he is. To add to it, there are a lot of people willing to pay a lot of money, just for a hair on his head. 🐺⭐️ My inspiration for this comes from JK Rowling's Marauders, the book called The Gardener, my friend's art, a couple of tumblr posts, and my own ideas.

She has a free spirit That is wilder than wild. And she loves to dance, This gypsy child. She has a charmed soul Sure to make you smile. While she claps her hands, This flower child. She lives in a dream With her fantasies piled. And doesn't believe in chance, This dreaming child. She set souls on fire With her wandering style. Because she was never home This wanderess child. This child is me In my wildest daydream. All I crave to be Free, Free, Free. -Monica P. Ross :)

Elizabeth Gunther and her adventurous best friend Lilah Truemoth embark on a grand journey to unravel the mysteries of Elizabeth's lineage. Growing up, Elizabeth always believed that her mother was a muggle who passed away at birth and her father was a wizard. However, during a conversation with her father, something catches Elizabeth's attention, flowers in a bouquet known to be extinct. Leading her to uncover an ancient legend. According to the legend, when the fey and dragonic races were tired of being hunted, they went into hiding with them they took the most magnificent flowers, trees, and animals. They intended to punish the mortals for hunting them by making their world duller and sadder.
