Band camp is the highlight of every band kid's summer. A two week long retreat for dedicated band student, filled with music, late nights, and lots of fun. But everyone knows the real reason for coming: the Band Camp Romance. Kylie Holt doesn't come for love, only the music and some quality time with her best friend, Paige Randall. Life is like a song. Sometimes, you get along with people, you are in harmony. When you are at rough terms with them, it is called discordant harmony. Sometimes, in life, you have to walk on a path by yourself, it is like playing a solo part. The thing about this song that you have, is that it is up to you to make it adagio, allegro or allegro assai (slow-paced, regular-pace of fast-paced). After passing the entrance exam to a music conservatory in London, she moves halfway across the globe to study music. She was not a musical genius like some in the world, she had to work hard for music. But music works for her as well. Music helps her express what I'm not able to say. ------------------------------------------------ He's the top violinist from the Royal Junior Conservatory of Music. Even though it's his first year at the Royal Conservatory of Music, he's more or less well known and the topic of many girls. People say he does martial arts, even though it probably affects his violin. People say he doesn't have any friends. People say he beats up others. That's what people say.

Alex Dickinson is just a normal girl in a normal high school band. She plays an instrument just like any other student/musician. But, there is one thing that keep her taste different than other girls in band: She plays the Tuba. And is the ONLY girl that plays Tuba. Everyone thinks she is weird and should play the flute or clarinet. They tell her that she 'doesn't look good with a Tuba'. But she doesn't care what their pity words say. Soon after, a newbie arrives into the band. Everyone is wondering what 'he' will play. They are hoping he chooses something 'boy-ish'- or will he?? Before Alex and 'he' knew, they are just the same; they pick opposite instruments, are awkward, and are told the same words- "you look bad with that instrument".
