Prologue: It's now Sunday March 3rd 3015 or I think it is. It's been approximately 62 days since the plague has first started, and I am practically all alone. It's only me and my father, the only person left in the world I can trust. My little brother passed away a couple weeks back, and my mom when the plaque first started, but if it's one thing I learned from all of this shit is that the best way to survive in the world now is to give very little thought to anyone or anything. It's hard at first but after you see more and more of your family and friends die in front of your own eyes, you'll get used to it. And the worst part about this is that the body count will never end.

Daisy and Hanna want to have the best summer ever, but not everything works out for them. Their best summer ever becomes a summer of heartbreak, new romance, and a load of drama. Hanna's struggling with alot of personal issues and doesnt know who to turn to for help or what to do. Will everything be okay in the end? Daisy has a new unexpected love interest, but the problem is they are best friends. Will their friendship be ruined forever? Will it just be a summer fling?

Halle Merlow (11) practically lives in her favorite tree in the deep part of Oklahoma. When all the other kids would be playing foolishly, Halle would bring a nice book or sometimes her doll up to sit in the old Oak tree. All of a sudden, a new boy from California moves in next door and seems to be Halle's age. His name was Jean Whiley. She did not get too excited for new neighbors as she just kept to herself most of the time. But boy does she know that her whole life would change in a heartbeat. Could one boy actually affect her view on life?
