How would have Follow Me Back ended if Blair had lost interest in Tessa? I wrote this, and I just thought "Screw it. How bad could it be to publish it?" So here. The characters and some of the lines are owned by adam_and_jane . A lot of dialogue is heavily influenced by the dialogue in "Follow Me Back". Please leave constructive criticism where you see fit. On Halloween night, a Wattpad fanfic writer receives a mysterious message in her inbox: WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T READ THIS... She should've listened.

In New Sparta, people are only wanted if they are strong and male. Any others are allowed to live if they are at least useful in some way.Therefore, all 15 year olds must apply for a category: Strength, Leadership, Intelligence, or a particular skill they can show. The remaining people, who might apply for a catagory and aren't good enough, or they simply don't apply, are deemed Extras, already at a disadvantage for The Great Journey. The Journey is a mandatory contest for all 15 year olds. Placed in groups of five, with one member from each of the respective categories, they must travel across New Sparta to be in the first 60% of finishing groups. There are no rules, only that you must be a finisher to live. Group 37-H is not considered likely to live. Their Leader refuses to work with anyone, their Skillsman's best tool is identifying plants, and their Strength is a girl, Peyton Lessimer. Their Extra, Lily Evans, wishes she was placed in Skill, for her medical skills are extraordinary, but she was frowned upon as one of the only girls applying. Peyton is thrilled when she is placed as Strength, but she must overcome threats from the opposing groups and her own group. The Journey is a dystopian novel that I hope will keep you thrilled, and please understand that this is my first book and I might make mistakes, but no hate.
