She was famed for the theatre stage, where the dazzling spotlight had begun to burn a hole right through her. Car radios oozed her voice inescapably, turning the world into her stadium. Ticket sales boomed and theater seats sold out wherever this woman was set to go. 1990s, New York City was at her lithe fingertips. People knew her. Audiences adored her. But after all was said and done-when the playbills were signed, when the tour was over-what was left? Josie was stuck. Each day looped into the next, as all fine details were lost to the cacophony of her life. Nothing seemed to matter. She needed a change. She needed to disappear from the view sycophants who craved the artistry of her flesh; from the press-circuit buzz that gnawed her character down to the bone. Simply put, she was in a catatonic state of mind. The remedy? She had to shake things up.

A Sweet Romance Series. Fragments Of Us. Book III | A Stain Of Love Series. ___ Indira and Giovanni were once married, once certain, once deeply in love. But words spoken in anger and pain on the night of their divorce left scars neither of them knew how to heal. They walked away from each other carrying regret, pride, and everything they never apologized for. Years later, they're forced back into each other's lives by the same friend group that once watched them fall in love. Every shared glance is heavy. Every conversation is awkward. The spark between them still exists, lingering in the silence, in the things they avoid saying out loud. Indira holds onto her grudge like a shield, even as guilt quietly eats away at her. Giovanni wants to take back the words that shattered them, but time has made the distance between them feel impossible to cross. They both want forgiveness-but neither knows how to begin. Until Indira finally breaks. In one emotional moment, she apologizes for everything-her overreaction, her silence, her love that never truly left. And suddenly, the past they tried to bury resurfaces, forcing them to confront the fragments of what they once were... and what they could still be... ___ "Do you ever think about that night?" "Every day." "Then why didn't you say anything?" "Because I thought it was too late." "I waited for you to take it back." "I wanted to." "Then why didn't you?" "Because I didn't think I deserved you anymore." "I didn't need you to deserve me. I just needed you to stay." "I didn't know how." "I didn't either. But I loved you anyway." "...I still do."

Isaac would always be known for his undescribable attitude, either normal nor reckless, it depends on the person he would interact with. As the only older brother in the woman's family, he serves his performance excellently in IT by day, then a street racer by night. Then there is one woman, Qayra. Rarely appear in public eyes (or at least trying to be). Though in media, she appears with a chic visual culture that makes her both admirable yet unapproachable. Her emphasis gives through papers with a messy annotate system and a gray hoodie that hides her from anything. The ground flipped their position to bump with an awkward introduction. Eyes that glanced briefly and still resurface what should be left bygone. "Thick brows yet messy," -Qayra "It represents my interest for you." -Isaac Qayra who runs when she spots Isaac from distance, Isaac who'd chase her to seek confirmation. With his two-faced background, he seemingly couldn't decide what path he stood. His focus towards computers doesn't dissolve the thought, it brings more "What if...". With her hyperindependence tendency, her brothers always find a way to meet her. She put her thought into a blank paper with ink that doesn't fully solve what she should face instead of writing with tremors. Isaac and Qayra would meet and communicate with wary, sometimes nervous, sometimes annoyed, sometimes it's presence without noise filling the ears. Their internal conflicts lead to obfuscation from honesty and self-awareness, though undeniably shaping their perspective to something more significant to their identity. Trigger Warning! Might include harshness, curse words, drugs and depression. You have been warned so please take consideration risk... P.S: A Malaysian girl trying to write an English story with passion, yet forgive my English mistakes because I'm still learning for it!
