What if Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, led a happy life? What if Francis never died? What if she had the opportunity to have more children, with the man she truly loved? What if she got to rule both Scotland and France -- and even laid claim to England? Can a happy ending truly exist for royals?

Since Mary was a child she was destined to be the next great ruler of Scotland. Not only because of her royal birth but because her parents tragically died when she was just a baby. Mary has been raised by her grandmother at Scottish Court and groomed to be queen. Mary is kind and gentle yet strong and independent. Now it is time for her to enter a new challenge at French Court, finding a husband, even though she has a man that she loves. Francis has resented that fact that he has never lived up to his father's expectations, no matter what he does it is never enough. He is a natural leader and a good man. His whole life he watched his father cheat on his mother with every woman that came to court, he promised himself to be better than that. Francis wants to stay loyal to the woman he loves. Though now, even though he doesn't want to, he must step up to the challenge of courting a Scottish Princess.

A fan fiction about Mary and Francis from Reign. I DON'T OWN REIGN OR ITS CHARACTERS. Be warned this is nothing like the show and has no historical accuracy. This is how the life of Mary and Francis should have been of Francis was still alive, their relationship and if they have children. It is so upsetting that Francis is no longer alive and I couldn't handle it so I decided to write a fan fiction!!

Francis thought that Mary was suppose to marry Lord Thomas but he was killed days before they where suppose to be wed and Francis was wed they day before she was. So will they be wed? Will Christina welcome Mary?

This story is about queen Mary and king Francis's story around season three and upwards in the series. As this is fan fiction there will be things that aren't 100% similar to the series:) hope you enjoy! This is my version and how I had hoped the series would go;)
