I was happy with my life being alone and living in the middle of nowhere. This was until a young wild savage boy appeared at my home, after escaping from a freakshow where he was locked in a cage because people thought he was wild and dangerous. All the boy wanted was to feel safe and loved.

Ella is The Human Marionette. She was kidnapped when she was just 11-years-old. Since then, her kidnappers, Eric and Bernie, have formed her into a human marionette. She performs around the country along with others who have been trained just as she has--torn from their lives by Eric and Bernie, forced to perform inhumane acts. Ella hadn't thought of escaping in years. No, that was too dangerous, and they scared her enough the first time. But then she meets Ashton, the first client to ever see through the show, to see her. He may just be her way out. She has to at least try.

You've found yourself having paid to enter the Dark Woods Circus. As you gaze upon the caged performers, one seems to catch your eye, and you seem to notice that something is terribly wrong. AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is my first story and I kinda wrote this while I was, what the cool kids call, "Hyper depressed." It's extremely short with most "chapters" having two paragraphs maximum, but it just looked better split up like that. Most characters aren't referred to by name until the very end, so you're mainly referred to as "The Person" throughout the story. If you haven't listened to Dark Woods Circus, the other rolls (such as The Twins, The Deformed Diva, The Ringmaster, ect.) night be a bit confusing, so I'd highly recommend watching that first. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my 3am story, cause it may or may not be the only one I write here, depending on what y'all want. Peace!

i leave the home I've lived in all my life, to go to an art collage. this guy I meet is kind of cute I guess, nice hair, dimples, gorgeous south accent. but despite that, all I can wonder during my time there is, where did my childhood go?

the circus was in town, of course i had to go! little did i know what would happen next (this is my first story so im sure there will be grammar mistakes)
