His family decides to spend their summer holiday in Nablus, Palestine. They stay at a small village where his late grandparents used to live and Yaseen sees this as an opportunity to explore and practice his passion of photography. On a small hill, while he was exploring, he spotted "Jihad" who was sitting under an olive tree scribbling something on his notebook, so he approaches him and that's where everthing starts to take a turn... -All the characters in this book are completely fictional.

" The priest asked him with a kind smile on his face. " My name is Jihad..." He said, in a voice barely above a whisper. How could somebody's life turn to hell in just one day? Jihad, once an energetic passionate boy goes through the trauma and the grief of losing his home and both of his parents in a day. Please, try not to hate her. She's just a girl, after all. She's still figuring things out and doesn't understand what love truly means. She's never learned how to love or be loved. It's not entirely her fault. Others should have tried harder to understand her instead of blaming her. They left her feeling abandoned and labeled her as a monster.
