Running away from their jobs as camp counselors, Ellie and Seb embark on a road trip with unexpected turns en route to their destination - New York. ***** Camp Raukawee was meant to be where Ellie Morrison and Sebastian Lee spent their summer working as camp counselors, but they've had enough. Escaping in the middle of the night, the friends hatch a crazy plan to make their way to New York to visit Ellie's dad, who she hasn't seen since he moved five years ago. Along the way, however, a series of cities and events have the pair not only questioning their individual futures, but wondering what will happen to the growing spark between them as the countdown to adulthood begins. "Glory goes to those who least want it." Albus Potter was a boy the whole wizarding world knew. He was the child of the Great Harry Potter, and he received the glory and respect for anything he ever did, simply because of who his father was. He wants none of it, but that doesn't mean those around him share his views. Jane Gibbs was a girl born in a small village of Scotland. She had practically grown up on her own, as her mother does not care about her all that much since her father left their lives. She has never received any glory in her life, but that has made her wish for it at all times. With her going at Hogwarts, she attempts to find the glory she knows she deserves, and her first opportunity to do so is by befriending the son of the hero of the wizarding world, Harry Potter. However, her attempts fail as Albus is quite the suspicious guy. She keeps being persistent though, and after some years, her attempt to befriend him does work out. Just not in the way she had been meaning to. NOTE The universe belongs to JK Rowling, any characters not mentioned in the books belong to me, as does the plot.

without the thought of hope, a troubled teen attempts to justify her death in heartfelt letters but does not get far, soon discovering that the divine revelations of living are so much better than the tragic outcomes that relate to suicide. - all the photography does not belong me but to their rightfully talented owners. (credit given to those i know of) warning 1: most parts may be a trigger so please read with caution! (contains implications of suicide, neglect etc. but is not labelled mature because it does not need to be.) warning 2: i wrote this when i was thirteen so it is not up to professional standards, however, i still believe that it sends out a very important message to everyone. please be advised of this before being critical, thank you.

"Why does everybody else have to go against us? Why does the world beat us up whenever things are going alright?" "We keep assuming things," is what she utters, after a while. "It's because there was never anything that started between us in the first place." And as always, Adeline seems to be correct, when the world took a final punch on her face. Because broken friendships were never meant to be fixed.

we all have insecurities. maybe about our bodies, maybe about our curves, maybe about how much we weight. there are something's that make people think their fat; mirrors, words, scales, clothes, and other peoples. mirrors that show them what they look like, not their heart. words that leave more scar than a knife could give. clothes that showed them their flaws, not their qualities. other people with 'perfect' bodies. highest rank: #349 on Short Story [12/07/2015] lower case intended
