His embarrassing crush on him. It had been going on for as long as he had known Bran, and Bran was straight. He needed to make it go away. Brando Connell has always sort of hated himself. What's not to hate? He distanced himself from his parents because he couldn't handle being called sinful. He was quiet. He ignored his problems long enough to forget about them. And, most importantly, had been in love with Wilson Taylor for years. His future was not looking bright. Being gay in Texas was like personally offending everyone you walk past. Nobody could know that though, he was somewhat popular at school. He wasn't sure how that came to be, but he couldn't ruin it. He wouldn't ruin it. And, most importantly, he couldnt put poor Will through more than he already had been. ... What I think happened during and in between the wishbone trilogy music videos! The principal stopped next to some lockers at the far end of the school. A door was a few feet away leading outside. I noticed it was snowing. "And that's our school! I'm excited to have you here, Julie," the balding principal said cheerfully. "Please. Call me Jordan," I smile tightly at him as I say that for the millionth time. My mom sighs. He ignores what I say and continues. "Your first class is just down the hall- hey! Caitlyn! This is a new student-" I push forward roughly, extending my hand towards the dark brown hair- blue eyed girl in front of me. "My name is Jordan," I insist stubbornly, dysphoria clogging my throat. "M-my name is Caitlyn- uh, you already knew that... Welcome to John Adams High School."

I am Colby Brock. My best friend is Sam Golbach. He has been with me all through high school. He knows things that a lot of other people don't. For example, I'm transgender. But he treats me just as I should be treated. Like a real boy, or a real man..
