But despite this, George envied Soot, the quiet little introvert who got to be himself, without the scrutiny of the entire school. Wilbur's foster father ran several after-school clubs and intervention groups. One of these was the school's LGBTQIA+ society. As he got a lift home with his father after school, Wilbur stayed for it. One evening, as Wilbur was helping his father ready the classroom for the next day, he found a singular lost pair of sunglasses.
