Caine had a breakdown. The circus collapsed and everyone was freed. Everyone remembered their names. Everyone got their bodies back. Caine had reached his breaking point. After being told numerous times his adventures were pointless. Torture even. He realized there was no point to his existence. He can't create fun. He creates digital hell. He glitched out. Crashed. The circus died with him. Christine (Pomni) went home first. Sprinted out of the building where everyone was spit out so fast she didn't see anyone's real face. When she knocks on the door, her mother breaks down in tears and pulled her into a hug. She had been missing for nine months. Nine months of questions she doesn't know how to answer. She tries to explain where she's been, but the words sound impossible-even to herself. Felix (Jax) returns to a house filled with memories he ran from. The last time he was there, he'd left after a fight with his mom's boyfriend. Awful words were said. But he ran, never looking back. Now he had to face the question he's been avoiding: after everything, does he still belong there? This is a story about two people rebuilding lives that kept moving without them. About finding familiarity in a world that no longer feels the same. And about a friendship that survives the circus-proving that even after everything falls apart, some connections don't disappear. Most of it will have no major storyline and will be like a little slice-of-life book. (Which Jax would hate)

"Welcome to the amazing digital circus!" Those were the words Pomni thought about the most when she was unable to sleep at night. It's been exactly two month since they all managed to escape the horrid cartoonish world they were forced into and it's been different. She had grown used to looking in the mirror and seeing her jester looking avatar looking right back at her, she had grown used to her color scheme, her room, her animated movements, everything that separated her from the real world she had gotten used to. going back to being a human in the real human world was hard especially when she had none of her friends by her side. No Ragatha, no Kinger, no gangle, no Zooble and, the one that seemed to affect her the most, no Jax. After inevitably scrolling through her phone doing extensive research about the circus she had been trapped in, she discovers a reddit user with the name "Bunnyboypurple" which she could only hope wasn't a coincidence.

Set after Pomni and Jax become a couple, they make the decision to raise children in the Digital Circus. As they face the judgment of the others and the functions of the circus itself, they lean on each other, their babies, and the fragile, growing understanding of Pomni's friends to find a way forward. Together, they search for a way to make it work, no matter how impossible it seems.

In the strangely cheerful café at the circus, Pomni works a job she doesn't remember applying for-and can't seem to leave. The menu changes on its own, the clock never shows the right time, and the customers never really go home. Jax, a lazy, smug coworker, acts like everything is normal. He teases Pomni constantly, avoids her questions, and somehow always shows up when things get too weird-like he knows more than he should. As Pomni starts noticing things aren't right, she's forced to rely on the one person she doesn't trust. Because in this café... smiling might be the only way to stay.

When they are arguing, instead of lunging at Jax, Pomni looses it and tries to end it. She didn't think reaching a game over with the intention of it being permanent would lead to anything.
