Herein lie verses of fur and faith, of paws that guarded sorrow, and spirits who kept watch when the world grew unkind. This volume is an assemblage of verses writ as charms and remembrances, set down in reverence of those whimsical beasts and gentle keepers who walked beside me. In quiet hours and unguarded nights, they stood as sentinels, offering solace without speech, loyalty without demand, and love unmarred by condition. These poems bear witness to a softer magic of paws that pressed grief into stillness, of watchful eyes that asked nothing, and of faithful spirits whose presence alone was benediction. PS: This is about my babies, yep you read it right! I got a lot of furbabies. To commemorate some, I published this. Yes, some of the have passed away already. I love them so much, that's why I made this.

Majira (Fox, Male) gets lost in the woods and meets a young fur named Bolt (Fox, Female). Majira starts off frantic to escape the depths of the forest while Bolt struggles to show him that it's where a fox like him belongs. Majira only knows the ways of captivity and is used to having everything at the blink of an eye, he will soon learn the forest is a majestical place that has been calling his name for years.

This is a story dedicated to my ULTRA CUTE kitty feline friend, Ariana! (I call her the queen) She is also very grumpy.

I went through my mom's camera roll and I'm concerned about why she has so many pictures of me sleeping... But like, I totally get why she has more pictures of me than anything else. I'm her baby so of course she'd obviously have more pictures of me than anything else, but still.

I swear to God, this dog is ridiculous. I just had a full-blown panic attack - heart racing, shaking, brain screaming, thinking I might actually die. And Koda? Fast asleep. Four legs straight up in the air, belly out, tongue moving like he's dreaming of snacks, completely unbothered. Earlier, he was dramatic as hell. Starving, dehydrated, staring me down for crackers like I personally ruined his life. I gave him water, a cracker or two, and finally - peace. Silence. Collapse. But no. He had to remind me that life is unfair. Every time I moved, his head popped up like, "Bro, what are you doing?" I'm freezing, tired as hell, trying to cover up, and he's just staring. Dead eyes. Judging. Dramatic as ever. I tell him, "Be quiet, b****," not even mean - just tired. And he whines. Whines like I'm the problem in the world. Bro, I just had a panic attack! You ate, you drank, you're fine! Then he flops back down. Four legs straight up, tongue out, licking his lips, snoring lightly, like he's dreaming about peanut butter crackers in a castle made of boxes. I can't stop laughing. Absolutely unbothered. This dog is hilarious. Watching him live his best life while I try to recover from my own chaos? Comedy gold. Absolute chaos. Drama. Panic. Snacks. Water. Licking. Snoring. Peanut butter. Koda is the dramatic king of ridiculousness, and I'm just along for the ride.

My Best Friend

Disclaimer: all stories are subject to my memory (especially the earlier ones when I was a child) so some details may be misremembered. (I'll fix the cover later) This is partially for me. I have occasional notions of writing memoirs or some such, focusing on all the animals that have been important in my life. Doubtful that I will ever get that far, but I figured it would be fun here to post those memories (good and bad) here for people to enjoy and possibly cry over. Because my heart belongs to the four legged friends who have walked through it, leaving paw prints and hoof prints on my soul! Trigger Warning: I will not avoid talking about not only their lives, but their deaths, so if that bothers you perhaps avoid reading.

Rosie has been with us ever since she was born. And now she is gone. This is a memorial for her, from pictures to a long description of where she came from. This is my way of griefing, and some support would be helpful.

This is a story of great loss.

I wrote this poem in August 2023, days after she fought for her life in my arms. I poured all my pain and thoughts into these words, knowing she has already read them. Though time eases the pain, it never fully fades. But with a hopeful heart, I will see you again.
