He is trying to get enough money to at least live in an apartment on his own, so he'll do anything to get money. Just when he thought things wouldn't work out for him, he found an email from a place called 'Laminax Laboratories'. He ponders for a few seconds before clicking on the email. It was offering him a job, where he performs tests on..'animals'. Despite the obvious red flags, he took the scientist position. Only time will tell what happens to him. Among the invaders is a Protogen named Leon working in an underground resistance within the Imperium. He must locate the chosen one who beholds the stone, and defend him at all costs before the stone falls into the wrong hands. The trio, must team up to stop the invasion and drive the hostile Protogens out of Earth and prevent them from enslaving and conquering Earth. Failure isn't an option as they only have one shot at saving billions. Note: This story is inspired by a lot of things, and my first truly original story, not an AU like Aftershock. this came to me in a dream, and also I found an old journal from when I was younger and thought I should make it better.
