Cataluna "Cat" Walters used to be a girl with no thirst for life. Then she met Jesse Centro, made a friend, fell in love. But then, he had a girlfriend. So, Cat decided that because she would never have him, why not have a piece of him? On her 18th birthday, she and Jesse go out, get drunk, and end up together in his apartment. She leaves the next morning, praying that she is pregnant. She is. A few months later, she gives birth to Tyler Adam Walters, a child doomed with a severe form of bipolar disease. He leads and ordinary life from that point on with his father and best friend and no memory of his mother. What happens when the disease in him begins to awaken? What happens, when he realizes just how much damage he can cause...has caused? What happens when it begins to take over and secrets and strength he never could have imagined just suddenly begin to flow through him? What happens when he falls in love?
