TWO AUTHORS - we got bored in english together and then this was the outcome. Behind the broken illusions of the summer, the unspoken understanding of the broken host and his faithful neighbour remains. As the autumn winds begin to cool the Long Island air, Nick helps Gatsby bury his old life and, in the process, sparks a passionate affair that quickly runs between comforting a friend and losing himself to a desperate longing.

The life after the death of Jay Gatsby and the girl he meets there. The process of dying and judgement weighing heavily on both their shoulders. And the slow reveal of who his mysterious companion is. None of the characters or the universe from The Great Gatsby belong to me.

Haley and Niall hated each other since they met each other, and when their paths cross again in college, that hatred doesn't change. But when they are forced to have to interact with each other against their will, not everything goes nicely. Actually it goes anything but nice. As they are forced to interact, they eventually know each other like the back of their hands. Now Haley must choose between her predictable boyfriend Zayn, spontaneous Niall, or a "singing angel" who sings beautifully and has a love for literature just like Haley. Nope, this isn't a story that focuses on a love triangle and it's not a story where the girl cries herself to sleep because she's heartbroken. This isn't your typical love story, this is Haley's hilarious and twisted love story.

Inspired by The Great Gatsby

GATSBY LIVES AND MARRIES DAISY BUCHANAN i made this as a joke for my friend don't judge grammar or anything, it's satire i do NOT own any of the swaggy characters of the great gatsby that belongs to f. scott fitzgerald, i also do not own leonardo dicaprio :(

Nick Carraway, the narrator in "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald is back to give us a short reflection on his summer on Long Island. This is a songfic using the monologue lyrics of the song "National Anthem" by Lana Del Rey. Nick Carraway still loves Jay Gatsby. And he always will.

Rose Carraway. The embodiment of a beautifully tainted rose, a blossoming flower, sprouting from the depths of sharp thorns, blooming towards the happy glowing sun. She was the balance in the Carraway family, the mess it had become, Nicks forced engagement, her mothers alcoholism, her fathers workaholic tendencies. Forcing the siblings hand to run, the engagement spooking Nick, and like the loyal sister she was, Rose left with Nick to New York, Long Island, and meets up accidentally with her past. Just before Gatsby was shipped of to war, he'd met the pure beauty that was Rose Carraway, and no longer was his mind set for Daisy, it was Daisy's cousin instead. Rose Carraway completely took over Jay Gatsby's mind, the daring Daisy Faye, 5 years newly Buchanan now gone from any object of Gatsby's affection. But as the well known tale went in the original Gatsby, the two were split, and Rose Carraway felt an extreme loss, clamming herself up, never allowing herself to love again. Withering in the depths of her own garden, wilting away with every sob and gasp, drying herself up. Until her sun walked in - her brother, Nick Carraway, lifted her up and nursed her to health. But this time, Rose Carraway expresses promise, new beginnings, and hope. Her strongly built thorns defending her heart, building her strength, never letting a man handle her gruesomely. But unfortunately it made her cynical, the loss of love, the lack of parents. She became a little thoughtless, riddled with the inability to hold care for anyone but her brother. Will Jay Gatsby bring back the life he took from Rose Carraway? Or will Rose's stubbornness push him away?

Florence spent the summer in a dizzy euphoria, high on love. But all good things must come to an end. Lies and deception cloud her mind and a bramble of roses slowly begins to encase her heart, protecting her from another heartbreak. But she isn't exactly without fault either. Francis thought he was head over heels. No man or women could come between him and Florence. But Florence is becoming increasingly distant and cold and it seems as if he is the the last thing on her mind. So he left. It was for his own sake after all.

Jay Gatsby is supposed to be dead. So is Nick Carraway. After months of loneliness and grief, Nick and Gatsby wake up in West Egg - again, and again, and again.

This is an old Year 10 English Assessment where we had to write an additional chapter to 'The Great Gatsby', by F. Scott Fitzgerald, depicting the life 10 years on of one of the characters. *I do not own any of the characters except Rose Carraway and Violet Buchanan.*
